  I need to talk to WordPress support about installing a Bank of America plugin. I was told it’s free to do but I can’t without buying the Creator plan and the bank’s never heard about this issue before

  There is no way around but if you want to use a third party plugin on the wordpress.com platform, you must upgrade to the Creator Plan. This is due to the fact wordpress.com is on a shared platform. Sites able to use third party plugins, are on an individual platform.
