plug in for ecwid not appearing in dashboard

    Dear WordPress,

I have spent the last several hours navigating the information you provide online on linking an Ecwid store to my wordpress blog. I found the information quite confusing:
    1) the plug in icon is not available on my dashboard for me to activate the Ecwid plugin
    2) I have a wordpress.com blog, do I need to sign up and pay for a wordpress business account to be able to activate the ecwid plugin?

Could you please clarify if I am eligible to have ecwid plugin for my account and why the icon doesn’t show up in my dashboard?

    your help is really appreciated

    thank you
    Noor

    Hi noordeolinad,

Yes, you’ll need to upgrade to the Business plan to integrate Ecwid into your blog. Here’s a support article with more details:

Another option you may wish to consider is hosting your own WordPress.org installation, as you’ll then be able to install plugins on your site to integrate Ecwid.

Here’s a link that explains the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org
