Plug-in installation permit with free plan

  Hello,

  I’m trying to find out, if wordpress offers all functionalities I’d need.
  This includes
  – export of static html page
  – usage of database
  – usage of php
  – creation of role-based member pages

  All these features require plug-ins. Is there any way to receive a short term trial period where several plugins can be installed?

  A self-hosted WordPress.org site may be a better match for you. Here on WordPress.com you won’t be able to edit your database.

  As for the plugins, these are available under plan Business. You can purchase any plan you’d like to try and, if you’re not happy, you can cancel and obtain a refund within the first 30 days. Bear in mind that if you register a custom domain, you could only opt for a full refund during the first 96 hours. After that time, we could only refund the cost of the plan minus the cost of the domain.

  Thank you very much!
  After all that WIX-Stuff I got completely biased and thought wordpress is also a only-on-our-servers-thing.

  Installing my own instance was a very nice idea!
  Through that I figured out, that the functionality I’d like is implementable through plugins.
