    Hey there!

Sound like you’re looking at WordPress.org support sites, rather than WordPress.com support.

WordPress.com does not offer the option to install third-party plugins. If you would like more control over plugins and the option to install your own, a WordPress.org setup would be the best solution for you.

This page explains the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org in more detail, if you’re interested:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

WordPress.com has a lot of built-in features that were inspired by popular plugins. Chances are, the feature you are looking for is already there! You can search our support site via this link:

A Pinterest hover button isn’t possible on WordPress.com sites. It requires code that we don’t allow here. However, sharing buttons at the bottom of your posts, where your visitors can share your images on Pinterest, ARE indeed possible. Here are the sharing button details:

For any features on WordPress.com, the support page will explain how to set it up.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have other questions. Thanks much.
