Plug in on my wordpress site

  I wanted to put plugins on my wordpress site but they said I could not unless I was self hosted. I signed up with hostgator and downloaded my wordpress content onto their site. I STILL cannot download plugins which means I am an not able to put adsense onto my blog. This is very frustrating because I have tried everything and can’t seem to get a straight answer out of anyone. Thanks

  Your domain is still directed to your WordPress.com blog.

  You’ll need to change your nameservers to point to Hostgator: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameservers
