Hi there,
I’m afraid at the moment, WordPress.com does not support this feature. In order for someone to “like” a post on a WordPress.com site, they need to be logged into their WordPress.com account. It’s a bit like on Facebook, where someone needs to have a Facebook account and be logged in to “like” a post there. It’s a way to ensure that likes are genuine and not spam, and it also helps to foster a sense of community among users.
However, there’s an alternative you might consider. WordPress.com has a built-in feature called Ratings. The Ratings block allows you to add star ratings to your posts and pages, and this feature is accessible to everyone, including those who don’t have a WordPress.com account. You can find more about this feature on our support page here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/ratings-block/
This could be a useful way for you to gather feedback from all your visitors, regardless of whether they have a WordPress.com account.
I hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
