plug-in too large for host

  • Unknown's avatar

Apparently I uploaded a plug-in that was too large for the host. It shut the website down and I can’t log in to uninstall the plug-in. This is the error i’m getting:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 52428800 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 25 bytes) in /home/maggiess/public_html/wp-content/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/widgets/so-button-widget/so-button-widget.php on line 146

Any help to fix this and get the site back up asap is appreciated.

WordPress.com does not allow you to install plug-ins. It sounds like your issue is with a self-hosted WordPress.org site. This forum is for WordPress.com hosted sites. The correct forum for WordPress.org self-hosted sites is http://wordpress.org/support. For more on the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org please see this article: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
