Plug Ins
-
hey,
I would love to install a plug in but even though there is a plug in option showing on my dashboard, I can’t edit or install anything. Its just showing me default plug in but there is no button whatsoever to install or search for any plug ins.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello asilasat,
Yes, there is a plugin link in your dashboard. But on wordpress.com this only displays the addons you can enable. You cannot search or add plugins to a WordPress.com site.
There are two versions of WordPress which confuses many people.
Self hosted WordPress.org which requires you to get a web hosting account vs. WordPress.com which is free and hosted by Automattic.
This link gives you more details.

Cheers,

Hi Arlen, and thank you for your prompt reply. I have a premium account. I want to add the polylang plug in to allow multi languages to be added comfortably to my site.
In short, I have bought an account, have I not ? If I can’t use the polylang plugin, how do I go about using multiple languages on my premium website ?
Thanks,

@skip1962 it is always a good idea to start your own thread so that the OP doesn’t receive replies in the forum not meant for them. Installing your own plugins isn’t supported here but have you seen this:-
