  Is there a certain version I must have to utilize the Plug-in function? Thanks.

  Hi Bill,

  Plugins aren’t allowed on WordPress.com for security reasons. That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs using an installed version of WordPress. You can learn more about the difference here:
