  Hi everyone
  I am new to the blogging community and have been trying to create a blog on wordpress. I wanted to know if there was a way to add plug-ins to the non-pro version of wordpress? I am trying to connect to the amazon affiliate plug-in into my blog, but am unable to do so. Moreover, i haven’t even managed to embed slideshows (flash) into my blog. http://thetabstore.wordpress.com/
  What am I missing?
  Please advice. Thank you.

  There is no way to add plugins to a WP.com blog and all blogger-initiated advertising, including affiliate ads, is banned here.

  If you are going to do ecommerce at all, you definitely want an independent install of WordPress.ORG software and hosting somewhere else.
