plug ins
-
HI, I have been using the old WordPress in the past and it had a plug in section on the navigation menu. Now I have opened up a new account and I can not find the plug ins button. It is missing.
Can you please help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It is not missing. WordPress.com has never had a plugin section. Plugins are for WordPress.org blogs only.

The differences are stated here and most certainly they are not the same. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we bloggers cannot install any plugins.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes anything at all stated here http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ FTP access, and plugins are available only for VIP bloggers http://vip.wordpress.com/our-services/ or for those with WordPress.ORG installs.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate. if you require plugins, a shopping cart, etc. then you must hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install. http://wordpress.org/ Then you can move your content from the free hosted WordPress.com blog into the WordPress.org install. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/

I agree that a plugin page would be very handy. Specifically, I need HTML Javascript Adder. It would be incredibly helpful, and allow me make my blog more individualized, while still remaining within WordPress.com hosting, which I’ve been very happy with.
Please consider!

Are you kidding? That’s not going to fly on this multiuser blogging platform where our blogs share a common architecture. It’s a security issue.
