Hi there,
Your friend’s advice that pertains to WordPress.ORG software installs is not relevant to WordPress.COM blogs. The two are not the sameThere is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install. WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, conduct ecommerce and edit the database. I see, thanks!
I have another question: I have purcased the creative theme, but it seems like it is not installed, even if it says: you already have installed that premium level. Is there a button need to tick off? -
What is the name of this theme?
Exactly where did you purchase it?The only themes we can use on WordPress.com hosted blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes

Hi Ellen,
I see that you purchased the Creative theme and it’s active on your other site here:
Did you want to use that theme on your site at http://ellensoase.com/ instead?
(Please keep in mind that theme purchases are per site, so purchasing the theme on one site does not make it available on other sites you own.)
If you want to transfer the theme to your other site, you can do that. First, you can activate a different theme on your site http://ellenrobergaskim.com/ (under Appearance > Themes in the dashboard). Then, you can transfer the theme by going to your My Upgrades, clicking the cog icon next to the theme there, and clicking on “Transfer to another site.” That will let you activate the theme on your other site.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Hi, yes it is at the right site ellenrobergaskim.com.
My problem is that i can not activate the costumize for premium part.
Only in preview. When I go out of preview, it is all back in grey again???
-
Hi Ellen,
Your site at http://ellenrobergaskim.com/ doesn’t have the WordPress.com Premium upgrade, so you can preview the Custom Design features there but you’ll need to upgrade to Premium if you’d like to activate them on the site.
-
I see. Now I try to get premium for this blog to but it then says I already have it. Going in a loop.

Hi Ellen,
You can go to the Plans page for your http://ellenrobergaskim.com/ site to view the current plan and upgrade to Premium. Please let me know if you have any trouble with that!
