Plug ins and themes are blocked?
-
Hi,
I’m attempting to add plugins and change my theme, when I attempt to I get an ‘Upgrade to Business Plan (I’m on Personal) to access the theme install features.
Similar with plugins, you need to upgrade your plan to install plugins.

Hi @tabrisru,
Unfortunately, the Free, Personal and Premium plan does not have the ability to install a custom theme and plugin. However, you can still choose from a variety of free themes available in the theme repository by following this link: https://wordpress.com/themes.
It is suggested to upgrade to a Business Plan to install a custom theme or plugin that you’ve purchased or downloaded from another source. Third-party themes or plugins can only be installed on Business and eCommerce plans.
To see the features available within each plan, you can visit this page:
https://wordpress.com/pricing/.I hope this information helps!
