  im trying to search and upload plug ins on the free account and it doesn’t appear to allow me. please advise

  Hi there –

  It sounds like you’re a bit confused about the two different versions of WordPress.

  Plugins are only used with the WordPress installation that you run with a hosting company. This process is very different from what happens here at WordPress.com.
