    Right now I’m using the free version of wordpress.com, due to which I cannot install any plugins. If I use a hosting provider like BlueHost, should I again pay for the premium WordPress plan to get access to plugins? Are plugins accessible when I choose Bluehost and not the WordPress paid plan?

    You do not need to purchase a WordPress.com plan to access a plugin if you are hosting your site with a hosting provider other than WordPress.com.
