  Hi,

  I was wondering is there a plugin out there that emails the post author after a certain amount of time reminding them to update their post?

  I’ve looked but can’t find anything definitive that is kept up to date!

  Hi @raymonddillon! I’m not aware of a plugin that does that, but I suppose you could write one!

  We do have reminders to blog, though:

  Build a Blogging Habit with Reminders in Your WordPress App

  You could use those as reminders to check on posts, too.

  Also: in many cases, folks see posts/articles as a moment in time rather than something that gets updated regularly. They have a date in the address, for example. If you’re looking for “timeless” content, you might want to go with pages:
