Plugin – Category Posts Widget

Do you have a widget that shows the most recent posts in a single category. I’d like to have a feed of recent posts in a single category on my homepage.
I see there’s a “Category Posts Plugin” available for WordPress.org sites, but not for my WordPress.com site.

I forgot about the feed! But if you put the shortcode on a page then you can add a page in a custom menu. I’d been looking for something like that for my work blog… Nevermind, I guess one could use a feed on a page and add the page to a custom menu.
Sometimes I make things too complicated for myself.
Still, the shortcode thingy seems useful. -

Well, it wasn’t announced. I only came upon the link because I can’t sleep nights and foolishly look at the forums. The support docs don’t give any much info either. Will it remain viable?
