plugin dumped but still there

Yesterday, my site was working fine. It is up today, but no plugins show up on my dashboard. As if all were dumped. My cpanel with hostgator works and shows all the wp stuff and the plugins in my files. This morning I had no site up, just an error stating that on line 3 the directory was wrong for the woocommerce social buttons. I could not even get into my dashboard. I deleted the woocommerce social buttons (only) from the file section. That is when my site came back missing everything. Is this a WP problem, hostgator problem, or a woocommerce problem? plugins will not let me reload, saying that the activation failed.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
