Plugin editing help please!!

I installed a maintenance plug-in with a countdown and the countdown was up yesterday so my site is viewable now. I went back in to edit my plug-in by changing the countdown date but everything is in css (I think that’s what it is called, I’m obviously new to this) instead of the admin panel that was there when I initially installed it. Can anyone tell me how to get it back to the easy editor that I can understand? I also tried installing a new maintenance plugin and it does the same thing for that one. I am not that advanced in coding yet, or at all for that matter, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
