Plugin Error Message

  Hi! First let me say I am very new when it comes to WP. Unfortunately my web designer is no longer my web designer, so I have taken over working on our website.
  On Thursday I installed the WordPress Gallery Plugin – NextGEN Gallery. Now when I try to access my installed plugins I get the following message:
  ‘Error thrown
  [] operator not supported for strings’
  Could it be this new plugin that is causing the issue? If I can’t get to my installed plugins how do I deactivate it?

  You sound to have a self-hosted WordPress(.org) website.
