Plugin files remained after uninstalling.

Hello. I request a bit of help.

I’ve deleted dokan, a plugin I’ve used until now to create a multiple-vendor marketplace. And even after uninstalling that plugin, files of that program have still remained. In my store listings, I have this [dokan-stores]
paragraph and I can’t seem to remove that. I even searched into the FTP for the code to delete and I can’t seem to be able to find anything.

Your help will be highly appreciated, thanks.

  • Hi there,

The WordPress.com public support forums are dedicated to WordPress.com users only, and legitcheck.ro is a self-hosted site.

In this case, you will need to contact the Dokan plugin developers directly for assistance with removing plugin files from their plugin. They would be the best resource to guide you through the process since they developed the plugin.

Here’s a link to the Dokan plugin support page where you can find contact information for their support team: https://wedevs.com/support/

Also, I’d like to clarify that WordPress.org (self-hosted) and WordPress.com are two separate platforms. While WordPress.com provides hosting and support services, WordPress.org offers free, open-source software that you can download and install on your self-hosted website. If you have any further questions regarding the difference between the two platforms, please check out:

I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions, we can help you with.
