Plugin for folder (mass) upload and add

  Hi,

  I am searching for a plugin that reads a folder ( for example a manually created folder in site root /media/batch/ containing 100 jpg photos )
  all images in there should be added to the WP database as media items ( make the 4 size versions, throw filename in description fields etc ),
  and for every image that is added:
  it should also add a page into a given category, and attach itself to that page as featured image.
  and if it could read the caption from the image exif and stick it in the page content… bless.

  Sounds like something i’d have to build myself, havn’t found anything that does the trick.
  Perhaps suggestions?

  You are looking in the wrong place for plugin advice. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install plugins into them. They can only be used on WordPress.org installs. http://wordpress.ORG/support/

  Oh i thought it was weird i had to signup for a whole new free blog to access the support forum.. guess im a dummy! Thanks for pointing it out ;-)
