Plugin for Google AdSense

  I have a problem trying to install Google AdSense.
  In instructions is this:
  ‘Sign in to your WordPress account and visit the site admin page.
  In the site admin sidebar, click Plugins and select Add New.
  Select Upload near the top of the plugins page.
  Click Choose file and upload your .zip file. Then click Install Now.’

  Problem is I can’t find Plugins in site admin sidebar. I’ve searched everywhere, but can’t find it.

  There are two types of WordPress. One is where you register a domain, buy hosting, and set up your site using the free software from WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/

  You’re able to do anything you want with your site including installing plugins and adding Google AdSense. The instructions you read were for that version of WordPress.

  The other version is here on WordPress.com, where you get a free domain (yoursite.wordpress.com) and free hosting. All the tech stuff is handled for you, however, there are some restrictions. One of those is that Google AdSense isn’t allowed: https://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/

  Also, plugins cannot be installed which is why you weren’t able to find that option anywhere.
