There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs like the one linked to your username and we cannot install individual plugins or third party themes into them. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/editing-themes/There is no upgrade you can purchase form WordPress.com that provides FTP access and the ability to use plugins. No upgrade chnages what’s stated here > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ If you wish to have complete control over a blog, the ability to upload themes and plugins, and to edit themes and templates then your option is to hire a web host and get a free software install from WordPress.ORG and self host it.

There are very different flavors of wordpress. Premium upgrades on wp.com won’t get you access to plugins or FTP.

I have an account on WP.org too, SO how can i free software ? If you have link to download then plzz pass over..

Here you go:
http://wordpress.org/download/While the software to make your site work is free (and they have a number of free themes—there are other themes you can purchase), you must pay for a company to host your site. I beieve they have some recommendations on the link I gave you above.

Just a thought here, but if you are happy to live with the TOS of wp.com you might tell us what sort of plugin you are trying to use. There may be an alternative on the totally free wp.com platform.

Actually i wanted to do it all by myself….SO can you guid me about each and every step.
I am good at ASP.net

So then you don’t need WordPress of any sort afterall!
Happy blogging or site building to you!

Can we guide you about each and every step? No. For WordPress.org installs, that’s the kind of service that people charge money for. I teach a day-long course in getting your WP.org blog up and running, and it costs $400.
