Plugin Help! – Do I need to update my wordpress version?

    Hi people of the forum,

    I’m trying to get the Give Plugin on my site but it’s not in the Plugins I have already on my site, which leads me to believe I either don’t have a good enough Plan or my Version of the site is old?

    After about half an hour of looking at different areas of the site and googling frantically, I can’t even find what version I have or how to update it – Help…. anyone….?

    (I hope I’m in the right forum. I’m really new to wordpress, as in getting into the site and trying to make things work well, I’ve previously just posted articles with not much thought to extra features. So any help appreciated!)

    Howdy!

    All available plugins on WordPress.com are already built in. You aren’t able to install plugins here.

    On WordPress.org, which is self hosted, you do have that capability.
