Plugin installation failed

  ‘The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.’ I have tried repeating to install this plugin ( https://themeforest.net/item/fooddy-247-food-ordering-delivery-theme/19731095 ). I have extracted the ‘parent’ file and the ‘child’ file and tried to upload but I get the same error message every time.

  I have HostGator for both domain and hosting and I installed WordPress (as one of the ‘website essentials’) so I would be able to have a specific domain name (FoodFixDelivery) and use the previously mentioned Fooddy 24/7 template.

  It looks like you have a self-hosted WordPress.org site. This forum is strictly for WordPress.com hosted sites.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.
