Plugin nightmare or scam?

    I purchased a plugin called Bookpress premium for more than $200. The plugin does not work or I don’t know what I’m doing. However, the real problem is that I’ve tried to contact them three times and they do not respond. I tried to get a hold of wordpress.org, but I cannot find a way to send them a message. If someone can help me, I’d greatly appreciate it.

    I’m afraid neither we, nor WordPress.org can help with this.

    You’re posting in the forums for WordPress.com, a hosting provider, and private company, and we don’t have anything to do with the developer/company who makes that plugin.

    WordPress.org is the website where a community of unpaid volunteers make the open source WordPress software. They also have no connection to the peolpe who make and sell that plugin.

    So the only people who can help you here, are the ones who make that plugin. This plugin has a forum on WordPress.org for its free version at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/book-press/, and I can see replies from the plugin author there as recent as last week, so perhaps try posting there.
