Plugin not showing up

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi, recently when viewing my site I noticed the theme and formatting had all been what seems to be reset. Im not sure what happened but elementor is no longer showing up as a plugin and there is a message, ‘The Elementor Header & Footer Builder plugin requires Elementor plugin installed & activated.’ I tried installing the requested plugin through the link and directly through the plugin store. No matter what i get the same error, ‘Destination folder already exists. /data/user6/2020/210/22318/…’ Why there is no option to reinstall, repair, uninstall, or do anything with said plugin beats me but if there are any other solutions that can be done through the backend that would be fantastic.

    Thank you

  • Hi,

It looks like your site is using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but is hosted with another webhost.

We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us here at WordPress.com. For help with a WordPress site hosted elsewhere you’ll need to ask over at the WordPress.org forums:

    https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Depending on the level of support that is included with your hosting plan, your webhost’s support team may also be able to assist.

If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the open-source WordPress software you can read this article:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org
