Plugin on a free site

  I’m trying to test out the Paid Memberships Pro on my (free) wordpress site. The PMP pro I have is also the free one. Now I can’t find the “plugins” tab on my dashboard on the wordpress site. Is this because I have the free site and not the upgraded one?

  Correct:

  WordPress.com users won’t find a Plugins tab in the Dashboard.
