Plugin option on wordpress, Hostgator host

    I have created a domain with hostgator and there was an option to install wordpress. However, my wordpress has no plugin option so I am unable to install themes etc.
    Can anyone help with this please? When I used it back in January it had the plugin option.
    could it be that I have a new wordpress account now connected to the same email and it doesn’t have the same privileges at the initial wordpress account on my email?

    Plugins can’t be installed on a WordPress.com hosted site (rdmediauk.wordpress.com).
