Yes, wpDataTables can be used on personal blogs, but there’s a catch: on WordPress.com, certain plugins (like wpDataTables) require at least a Business plan to install third-party plugins. The Personal plan does not allow installing custom plugins.

Things changed a few months ago. Older existing sites with a Personal plan can’t add plugins. But NEW Personal plan sites now can add plugins.

I’m on a Premium plan that does not allow plugins, but according to the link that @themagicrobot posted, new Premium plans do allow plugins. How do I enable plugins for my Premium plan?

Hey @grahambw As @themagicrobot mentioned just above, existing Personal or Premium plans can’t add or activate plugins. However, new Personal or Premium plans upgrading from free can.
