Plugin request for appointment booking

  Dear WordPress.com team,

  There seems to be no online scheduling or appointment booking plugin currently available on wordpress.com although this would be extremely useful to small service based businesses, freelancers, and individual users (past queries on this). The current workarounds are either highly inefficient (using contact forms) or unsuitable for individual shop owners who would like a single place to maintain both a simple website and their appointments (workaround being linking to an external booking service page from their wordpress.com page).

  It would be really great if you could a suitable plugin to your repository.
  I’m not an expert on this but a quick search suggests plugins on the lines of BirchPress, Booking Calendar, Appointment Calendar, WP Simple Booking Calendar etc. There may be better (free) plugins for the purpose of making an appointment or booking a time-slot (with or without payment capability).
