We don’t allow plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons. Plugins are a feature only available for self-hosted blogs provided through WordPress.org.
However, we do have some really cool widgets. Perhaps one of those might meet your needs?

ok. Actually my requirement is, I need to add google analytics code to my blog. Is it possible to add this. Please suggest an option to add google analytics code.
I’ve checked the editor tab to edit the footer.php file and also I can’t able to find an option.
If possible, please help me to add the code.

It’s not possible to install Google Analytics on WordPress.com. We do, however, offer a number of great stats features built into your blog.
There are no restrictions if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. We have hosting recommendations at the following link if you are interested.
