Plugin update break site
-
Hello Friends,
I started to work again on a site left in the closet for a year of so and I realized I might have some serious problem with plugins updates. It seems they haven’t been updated in a while. WooCommerce version has stopped at 9.0.2, I noticed after, having installed MailPoet, I got the message
MailPoet plugin requires WooCommerce version 9.5 or newer.I then updated WooCommerce. Immediately after I got the following:
There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.Luckily just a moment before I did that I made a backup of database and plugins. Still I had to rename the plugins folder to have access back to the site.
What can be done in these scenarios?
Thanks in advance for your advice.
