plugin updates

I updated plugins for my site, now my feature posts are gone from the home page, along with an image slide show and the menu bar from the mobile version. Checked all the settings but it all seems fine. Is this something which just updates itself after a bit of time?

WordPress.com blogs have built-in plugins only.
You are confusing wordpress.COM hosted blogs and wordpress.ORG installs on paid hosting.
Blogger installed plugin capability does not exist on WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.
For that type of functionality, you’d need a self-hosted WordPress.ORG software install running on a paid web hosting service.
