  Hi, I was just wondering if it’s possible to have a static page to display on your site while you’re developing the backend?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sure. Create the static page, go to Settings->General and select the blog to open on that page. Then don’t use any widgets or tabbed headers to display other pages or posts.

  I can’t seem to do that. isn’t there a plugin I can install to display a “launching soon” image while I develop my site in the back end?
