  Hi there,

  to be able to add plugins on WordPress.com, you’d need plan Business. Since there is only a free site on your account I have a feeling you are talking about a different one. What’s the address of the site in question?

  What do you mean free site. Domain with hosting or WordPress subscription you are talking about.

  Do i need web hosting to uninstall the existing plugins

  You have posted your questions on the forums for WordPress.com hosted sites. Here, you need to upgrade your site to plan Business to be able to install any plugin.
  What is the address of the site you are referring to?
