  Hi, I have the free wordpress site at the moment as I’m new to blogging and want to wait until December to change my domain name to .com but in the meantime I cannot install plugins on this free site. So which plan do I need to upgrade to, to install headers so I can claim/add the website to pinterest. Is it possible to upgrade to a plan without changing the domain name just yet, so I keep the wordpress.com name until December? thanks

  Hi there!

  Yes, it’s possible to upgrade your plan while keeping the free domain.
  To install plugins, you would need plan Business, but you do not really need a plugin for your images to be shared on Pinterest.

  You will want to enable the Pinterest sharing button for it:

  https://wordpress.com/support/sharing/.

  Note that you will need to use the Official Buttons style for Pinterest’s Pin-It Button to show on your images.

  Hi there,

  You don’t need to upgrade to verify your site with Pinterest. That feature is built into WordPress.com, and available on free sites. You’ll find the Pinterest verification option at Tools ->Marketing ->Traffic in the Dashboard.
