  I want to buy Elementor Pro. do I need to upgrade my version of WP to use it?

  Hi there,

  Elementor Pro is a 3rd party page editor that replaces the default WordPress drag-and-drop editor, so to use it will require installing the Elementor Pro plugin.

  Uploading plugins is not an option under your Premium Plan, but you do have the option to upload any plugin or theme “designed for WordPress” by upgrading to the Business or Commerce plans:

  It’s worth noting that we will credit you the amount you spent on the Premium Plan, so if you decide to upgrade you will not overpay, but will get the plan at a reduced cost so you do not pay twice.

  Also, if I can ask, what are you needing to do that requires the Elementor plugin? Our default editor is also a drag-and-drop style page builder, so it may be possible to create what you are after without the need to upgrade further. Do you happen to have any sites that you are drawing inspiration from or trying to emulate?
