  We cannot use plugins at wordpress.COM. Plugsins are for self-hosted blogs only.

  This sucks! I’m trying to speak to a live person for help with the Akismet plug in but there are no listed phone numbers anywhere to be found.
  I have a yellow box at the top of the Akismet Configuration page saying, “Akismet has detected a problem. A server or network problem is preventing Akismet from working correctly”.
  Then at the bottom it show’s the server connectivity, “Unable to reach Akismet servers”. Network status- OBSTRUCTED..
  How do I fix this? I cannot post anything and it freezes up. Is there a technical support number somewhere?
