Where are the plugins on my dashboard?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
While WordPress.com has a lot of built-in features that were inspired by popular plugins, we do not allow plugins to be installed for security reasons. You can search our support site via this link:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ to see if the feature you’re wanting is available. And if the feature is there, the support page will explain how to set it up.
Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress blogs. If you are wondering how WordPress.com differs from WordPress.org, this support article explains the distinction: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
What were you wanting to do? I’d like to try to find a solution for you.

Thanks! I purchased a “guided transfer” to transfer over a wordpress.com blog to a wordpress.org blog in an attempt to install a shopping cart plug-in. Are you familiar with it?

Our Guided Transfer team is great and they’ll take good care of you. There are a vast number of different shopping cart plugins, though I’ve personally have relatively little experience with them.
One idea, if you have questions about the pros and cons of various shopping cart plugins, is to post a note at http://wordpress.org/support asking others for their experiences.
Thanks for trying out WordPress.com!
