  I am back to using a WordPress blog that I am not hosting on my website (I have the website redirected to the blog). How can I add a Plugin/Widget) that is not one that is already available in my Dashboard area? Is it necessary for me to ‘upgrade’ from free in order to do so? Please send your reply to (email visible only to moderators and staff). Thank You.

  Hi! Plugins are only a feature of self-hosted WordPress.org blogs. Blogs hosted here at WordPress.com are not able to install plugins.
