  Why do I not have “plugins” on my sidebar so that I can install a new plugin? I have appearances and users but plugins are missing on my sidebar. Please advise

  We do not have the ability to install plugins on WordPress.com and there is no upgrade that will give you this ability: http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

  If you want to be able to use plugins you’ll need to buy your own domain and hosting and install the WordPress.ORG software to that domain.
