Plugins

  Good Evening!
  I have a problem with in installing plugins.

  I created a blog and i’m trying to add some plugins in it. Searching in the internet, a lot of websites says that there are a plugin area inside the admin page.

  The problem is that there isn’t that plugin area inside my admin page.

  Looking further in forums, I saw that wordpress.com hasn’t a plugin area, just widgets.

  So, I’d like to know how can I add plugins in my blog if there isn’t an area for that in my admin page.

  Hi there,

  For security reasons we do not allow plugins at all in WordPress.com. We do indeed only allow widgets within our systems. If you must have a plugin and the functionality that the plugin provides is not replicated by one of our widgets or is not built in to WordPress.com then we would have to recommend that you migrate to a self-hosted WordPress.org installation.
