  I am on a free account at the moment and trying to add a new plugin. Can you tell me which version of WordPress I need in order to perform this function?

  Plugins are only applicable to self-hosted blogs and websites using WordPress.org. However, WordPress.com automatically includes the most popular ones.

  I am trying to use a EZ squeeze plugin its to design squeeze pages can I use the free word press or do i have to pay for the premium word press?

  There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

  If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install. WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, conduct ecommerce, register members, and edit the database.
