  HOw can I install Jetpack and Google analytics without the premium plan? There’s no sidebar on my page that takes me to any available plugins.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You cannot install either one into http://artfilmfile.wordpress.com/ or into any WordPress.COM blog or any other plugins either. Note that JetPack is a plugin that provides WordPress.ORG users with what’s already in WordPress.COM blogs.Note that Staff run Google Analytics on our blogs but only these with the $299 per year Business upgrade have access to those anayltics.

  There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.COM blogs for security reasons, and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

  If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install. WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, conduct ecommerce and edit the database.
