  I am new to wordpress so this may be a stupid question. Where do I find my plugin directory to add plugins?

  We can’t add plugins at WordPress.com. Sidebar features is available in the form of widgets:

  Presentation -> Widgets.

  Quite a few features are available but there are limits. The sister company at WordPress.org allow plugins on self-hosted blogs but the free blogging community here at WordPress.com have a different system.

  We don’t use plugins here at wordpress.com. If you use plugins you can get help at wordpress.org/support.
