Plugins
-
Hi, I don’t seem to have an option for plugins on my dashboard; is this due to the fact that it’s not included in my plan? Either way could you indicate how I go about adding plugins to my page?
Thank you,
Marie Martin

WordPress.com websites cannot run plugins, to be able to run plugins you need to use wordpress.org!

http://yamagam.com/ is hosted by WordPress.COM, not by GoDaddy.
Take note that blogger installed plugin capability does not exist on WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality. You are confusing WordPress.ORG and WordPress.COM. For that type of functionality you’d need a self-hosted site running on a paid web hosting service.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you are referring to a different site that is hosted by GoDaddy read on please. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page -
Thank you for the answer. I try to remove the hosting of my site from WordPress because I want it to be hosted at Godaddy. The only way I see is is under dashboard/tools/delete site. Than the system tells me I need to confirm by replying to an email – I just don’t receive that email.

Hi Marie (mpmsafetyequip),
WordPress.com has a lot of built-in features that were inspired by popular plugins, but it isn’t possible to install additional plugins on WordPress.com. What kind of plugin are you trying to install? I can help you see if there’s a way to get that feature here at WordPress.com.

Hi yamagam,
I see you chatted with Happiness Engineers about your site after posting this message. If you still have any questions or concerns, please contact us directly so we can help you separately from this forum thread that mpmsafetyequip started. :)
