Plugins
-
I want to add plugins to my sites, but whenever I click it, the thing that shows up is a button to upgrade my account. Why am I not seeing the plugin store?

I’m having the same problem! (Not helpful, I know – sorry – but I’d love to know how to fix this.)

My answer to you in your own thread is correct. Please do not keep rabbit hopping into threads on the same topic. You are confusing wordpress.com hosted blogs and wordpress.org software installs. There is no FTP access https://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/ to wordpress.com hosted blogs and there is no blogger installed plugin capability
https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/ There is no upgrade that changes this reality. https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/This guide will explain how to move your WordPress.com site to another hosting platform: Moving to a Self-Hosted WordPress Site

Wow, clearly I am super confused. I’m sorry if I’ve been “rabbit hopping” and that causes you suffering. I didn’t even know I was doing such a thing. I think I need to find a class or get a real live tutor, because after reading your response 4 times I have no idea what it means! Thanks for your effort anyway.

Not to worry. I am on top of this because we can click member under any username and see the threads they post into.
because after reading your response 4 times I have no idea what it means!
This site is hosted by wordpress.COM

just like the other sites linked to usernames above. There is no FTP access and there is no blogger installed plugin capability. There is no upgrade that changes this reality.
If you think your need plugins then you have to move your content into to a wordpress.ORG software install.
