Plugins & 500 Internal Server Error

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi friends — I need help. I updated some out-of-date plugins and got the Internal Server Error (500). I’ve had this happen before and was able to fix the issue through my iPage account following an online tutorial. However, this time it’s screwed up again, with the message: W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /hermes/bosnacweb04/bosnacweb04/bosnacweb04av/b2583/ipg.ekbowerscom/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

    Please help.

    Hi there,

You are using the open source WordPress software rather than WordPress.com.

For help, you can visit https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Since your site isn’t hosted here, we do not have access to your account. To read about the difference, please visit our support page:

    https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

That forum isn’t connected to your WordPress.com account nor the login name of the WordPress.org site you’re trying to access. You’ll need to create a new account if you have never logged into https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
